Tasting menus, an appetising à la carte lineup (perch from Lake Geneva with sorrel and pike roe, poached scallops in helianthus, pithiviers of duck and foie gras), a splendid wine list, a contemporary stylish interior in a chic alpine vein and a youthful team that is always spot on: chef Yoann Conte has covered all the bases in this, his second restaurant, also housed in the famous Maison Bleue. And, as always, the view of Lake Annecy is jaw dropping.

The chef is equally at ease with traditional recipes (braised chuck with an excellent Mondeuse sauce, potato croquettes to dip in a delicious home-made ketchup) as he is with more modern and creative creations, such as leek and nori maki with Thai vinaigrette and smoked caviar – absolutely delicious! To be savoured on the pleasant terrace, in the shade of the plane trees.
