1. What we collect

Account data: email and a hashed password (shared sign-in with FlyerTrip). Content you choose to publish: posts, comments, stay facts, profile. Technical data: standard server logs and, once analytics is enabled, aggregated usage statistics.

FlyerKey processes no payments and holds no payment data of any kind.

2. Public by design

Posts, comments, contributed facts and your profile name are public — that is the point of a community. Don't include personal details you don't want public. Deleting a post removes it from the Platform; quoted excerpts in others' replies may persist.

3. How we use data

To operate the community (publishing, notifications, moderation), to compute contribution-weighted feeds and trust levels, to prevent abuse, and to improve the product. Verified stay facts you contribute become part of the hotel truth library under the licence in our Terms.

We do not sell personal data. Commission and price signals are structurally excluded from ranking — your data is never used to sell placement.

4. Sharing

Infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN, email, error monitoring) under data-processing terms. When you click an affiliate link, the destination site learns only the click context, never your FlyerKey identity. Disclosure to authorities only where legally required.

5. Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies/local storage for sign-in sessions. Analytics cookies, when introduced, will be disclosed here.

6. Retention & your rights

Account data is kept while your account exists. You may delete your account; contributed facts may be retained in anonymised form (the fact stays, your name goes). Access, correction, export or deletion requests: [email protected] — answered within 30 days.
