From the airport
The main airport is Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport (PVR), about 7.5 km north of central Puerto Vallarta. There is no train or metro. Easiest arrival options are an authorized airport taxi or pre-booked transfer, usually about 15-30 minutes to Centro/Zona Romántica depending on traffic. App rides may require meeting outside the terminal area.
