Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP) is the main practical airport, about 45-60 minutes by rental car, taxi or rideshare to Downtown/Old Town Port Aransas, depending on beach traffic and ferry waits if routed via Aransas Pass. There is no train or metro. Public bus is possible only with CCRTA schedule-matching and transfers toward Port Aransas, so plan on 2+ hours and limited usefulness with luggage. San Antonio is a larger fallback airport, roughly 2.5-3 hours by car.

Port Aransas has no metro. For transit, use CCRTA Route 94 Port Aransas Shuttle for local trolley-style service and check Route 95 Port Aransas Express if traveling to/from Corpus Christi; get a CCRTA day pass if you expect multiple bus rides. Many visitors use a car, bike or rented golf cart for short hops, but golf carts are not for highway driving. The free TxDOT Port Aransas Ferry runs 24/7 to Aransas Pass; summer, weekends and storms can add waits. If parking on the beach, check local beach-permit rules.
