City hotel guide

Keystone

Keystone is not a standard city destination for hotel travelers. The term primarily refers to architectural elements (the central stone in an arch) or cask fittings, rather than a specific municipality with a defined hospitality infrastructure. There is no widely recognized 'Keystone' city with established hotel districts, public transport hubs, or loyalty program footprints in general travel contexts. Frequent flyers should verify if they mean Keystone, Colorado (a ski resort area) or another specific location, as the provided context does not support generating a city guide for a generic 'Keystone' urban center. Travelers seeking accommodation advice should consult guides for specific, named cities with verified hotel markets.

Getting there & around

From the airport

Denver International Airport (DEN) is the main airport, about 90 miles east of Keystone via I-70 and US-6. The easiest first-arrival option is a prebooked mountain shuttle such as Epic Mountain Express or other Summit County airport shuttles, usually about 2.5-3.5 hours depending on stops, weather and I-70 traffic. Driving or taxi/private car is roughly 1.75-2.5 hours in clear conditions but can be much longer on ski weekends or in snow. There is no direct train or metro to Keystone; a public-transit route is RTD A Line to Denver Union Station, Bustang West Line to Frisco Transit Center, then Summit Stage to Keystone, but connections make it a longer trip.

Around the city

Keystone is a resort town, not a metro city. Around the resort, use Keystone Resort’s free shuttles between lodging areas, parking and base areas. For county trips, Summit Stage is the free public bus system serving Keystone, Dillon, Silverthorne, Frisco and Breckenridge; no tourist pass or fare card is needed. Use Transit or TransLoc for real-time bus locations. Stay near River Run or Mountain House if you want to walk to lifts; otherwise confirm your lodging is on a shuttle route. In winter, allow extra time for snow and I-70 traffic.

This sleek restaurant is set in the heart of downtown Boulder on a charming street lined with shops and restaurants. The refined, thoughtful cooking here is laser-focused on the cuisine of Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region in the northeast of Italy. Prix fixe and tasting menus span the typical gamut of pasta, seafood and meat, but Slavic and Alpine elements add a distinctive touch. The menu might showcase a lesser-known part of Italy, but carefully sourced Coloradan ingredients are also celebrated. The plates are beguiling, with a clean, straightforward approach, as in cjalson, half-moon fresh s
