Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport is one of the Pearl River Delta's big airports, with a strong domestic and regional Asia network plus selected long-haul services. It is the home base of Shenzhen Airlines, giving the airport a clear Star Alliance footprint through Shenzhen Airlines and Air China; China Southern, Donghai Airlines and Hainan Airlines are also important operators. For passengers, the airport is comparatively simple: scheduled passenger flights are concentrated in Terminal 3 and its satellite concourse, linked airside by APM, while the old A/B/D terminals are no longer the normal passenger terminals. The best city-centre move is usually Metro Line 11 from Airport station under the Ground Transportation Center to Futian in about 30 minutes, with taxis more variable in Shenzhen traffic.
