Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport ATLKATL
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is Delta’s hometown mega-hub and a major SkyTeam connecting point, with a heavy domestic feed plus long-haul international service to Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean and selected Africa/Asia routes. It is also served by major U.S. carriers and a broad set of foreign airlines, so it works as both a regional Southeast gateway and a true international transfer airport. The airport is large but simple: Domestic Terminal on the west side, Concourses T, A, B, C, D, E in the middle, and Concourse F/Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal on the east side. Once airside, all gates are connected by the underground Plane Train and walking tunnels, so most connections do not require leaving security. For downtown Atlanta, MARTA rail from the Domestic Terminal is usually the cleanest option, taking roughly 15–20 minutes to central stations; from the International Terminal, use the free terminal connector or airside transfer path to reach MARTA.
