Vancouver International Airport YVRCYVR

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is the main airport for Vancouver and British Columbia, and a practical West Coast gateway for Asia-Pacific, U.S., Canadian domestic and regional travel. Air Canada uses YVR as a major Star Alliance hub; WestJet and Pacific Coastal also have hub operations, with Airport South handling much of the regional/coastal flying, floatplanes, helicopters and charters. The passenger experience is simpler than many large hubs because domestic, international and U.S. preclearance areas sit in one Main Terminal complex, while the separate South Terminal is linked by shuttle. For downtown Vancouver, the Canada Line is usually the cleanest choice: trains run from the Main Terminal area to central Vancouver in under 30 minutes, with NightBus coverage when rail is closed.
