Barceló is a Spanish tourism and hotel group based in Palma de Mallorca, with roots traced to 1931 and a hotel business that began in 1962 with the acquisition of Hotel Latino in Mallorca. Barcelo.com currently lists about 180 hotels across 31 countries. Its lodging portfolio is positioned mainly from upscale to luxury and resort-oriented stays, including urban hotels, all-inclusive resorts, family and adults-only properties, plus Royal Level and Premium Level concepts. The group runs the my Barceló Benefits loyalty program, with member tiers shown as Essential, Special and Unique on its official site.
