Michelin-starred 2

La Villa

★ Michelin€€€Classic Cuisine, French

A really lovely restaurant located slightly above the town… and it's not just the interior that is elegant and stylish – the food certainly holds its own. The classic/French-based dishes are subtly polished by the chef, as he brings in regional influences; this approach works particularly well with the saddle of fallow deer, for example. The best way to experience the handiwork of the kitchen is to opt for the set menu, "Le Pin". A vegetarian set menu is also available. At midday they only offer a simple lunch menu with two or three courses. Convenient: parking in front of the establishment.

Entrée in Olomouc offers modern international cuisine centered around tasting menus. Food quality is generally praised for creativity, with specific dishes like carrots and sturgeon highlighted, though some guests found the fixed format limiting or noted inconsistent dish styles. Service is typically friendly and efficient, with isolated complaints about wait times. Ambiance features stylish interiors, but the remote location near a highway draws mixed reviews regarding the view. While not suitable for casual dining, it provides a high-quality experience worth traveling for, particularly for special occasions.

Suitable for diners seeking unique modern cuisine experiences who do not mind a remote location for high-quality meals.

Bib Gourmand 2

Long Story Short Eatery & Bakery

Bib Gourmand€€Modern Cuisine

This on-trend, modern bistro concept – including a chef's table and open kitchen complete with Jopser grill – lies within the historical walls of a military bakery with lofty vaulted ceilings. The flavoursome cuisine is creative and seasonal, with an appealing à la carte menu, plus an extra dish at lunchtime. It's not easy to choose between dishes such as "Grilled oyster mushroom, cream cheese, bread chips", "Chickpea tofu, hoisin, yuzu, chard" and "Venison, rosehip, brussels sprout, semolina". Tip: The dishes also lend themselves to sharing, so you can try different things. Don't miss out on
