Before choosing where to stay

Where to Base

It is recommended to stay in Baisha Village or Sanmin Village, which are close to the ferry terminal and major attractions. This location allows for easy walking or electric scooter rentals to explore the entire island conveniently.

Getting Around

There is no airport on the island; visitors must take a ferry from Donggang Pier. Roads are narrow, so renting an electric scooter or bicycle is the best way to get around and enjoy the scenic coastal views.

Best Season

From spring to autumn, the sea water is clear, making it ideal for snorkeling and diving. In winter, strong winds and waves may cause ferry cancellations, so check schedules before traveling.
