Valmeinier

Valmeinier is a commune in the Savoie department, situated at the foot of Mont Thabor (3,207m) in south-eastern France. Operating at an altitude of 1,500 meters, it is a medium-sized ski resort with approximately 10,000 beds. Development began in 1973 with the first lift at L'Arméra, connecting to Valloire, followed by the launch of the 1,800-meter resort and Gros Crey area in 1986.
