Where to Base
Hotels are concentrated around Maihama Station and the waterfront areas. Staying near Maihama Station offers maximum convenience for walking to Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea entrances. The waterfront district features larger resort-style hotels with more space and views, ideal for families seeking a relaxed atmosphere close to the parks.
Airport Connection
The city is approximately 30-40 minutes from Narita International Airport (NRT). Limousine buses run directly to most major hotels, providing a stress-free option for travelers with heavy luggage. Alternatively, visitors can take the JR Keiyo Line to Maihama Station and transfer to a short taxi ride. This direct bus service is highly recommended for efficiency and comfort.
Getting Around
Within the resort area, walking is sufficient for most activities. To reach central Tokyo, take the JR Keiyo Line to Tokyo or Shimbashi stations, which takes about 30-40 minutes. Using a Suica or Pasmo IC card is essential for seamless travel on trains and buses throughout the region. Taxis are also readily available but can be expensive for longer distances.
