There is no direct airport access. Travelers must fly into Prague or České Budějovice and transfer via train or bus. The journey takes several hours, so allow ample time for connections when planning your itinerary.

The location here is truly amazing, within the grounds of Třeboň’s wonderfully restored castle, which you should definitely explore before or after your meal (there are shops, cafés etc). Or soak up the peace and quiet at the lake as you take in the view. The restaurant specialises in fish – try the carp chips (kapří hranolky) with mushroom and dill sauce, for which they are famous. Some of the fish on the menu come from the lake. The service is attentive and friendly.
