€€Modern Cuisine
In this pleasant restaurant along a pedestrianised street in the centre of Haría, the main focus is on a series of daily recommendations (an option we recommend) that complement the à la carte, with everything here based around seasonal ingredients. The updated take on Canary Island cuisine is highlighted via dishes such as the pork-based “cochino embarrado” (literally “muddy pig” in English), which showcases high-quality ingredients along with subtle hints of fusion.

€€€€Modern Cuisine
A restaurant with plenty of charm, a focus on select ingredients, and a chef at the helm who, despite his young age, has plenty of experience behind him. Palacio Ico occupies the hotel of the same name in a restored property that still showcases the beauty of the archipelago’s architecture. The contemporary Canary Island-inspired cuisine prides itself on the quality of its ingredients such as smoked salmon from Uga, gambas and Carabinero prawns from La Santa, octopus from Lanzarote, the famous black Canarian pig, and local cherne fish etc. Choose between two tasting menus (one short, one long)

Palacio Ico in Nazaret specializes in modern Canarian cuisine, praised for its creative use of local ingredients and minimalist presentation. Guests frequently highlight the elegant atmosphere and generally warm, attentive service. However, some reviews note inconsistencies in meal pacing, delayed wine service, or perceived rudeness. While the ambiance and food quality receive high marks, opinions on value vary significantly, with some finding the pricing unjustified relative to portion sizes. Despite mixed feedback on cost-effectiveness, the restaurant maintains a strong reputation for culinary excellence and sophisticated dining.
Suitable for diners prioritizing culinary creativity and ambiance over strict value-for-money metrics.
€€€Rice Dishes, Seafood
A must for visitors to Lanzarote! The interior, which reflects the colours and iconic architecture of the island, provides the backdrop for superb fish and seafood, although Santi’s delicious and intense rice dishes also take centre stage. Make sure you sample the spectacular prawns from La Santa!

SeBE in Costa Teguise specializes in seafood and rice dishes, praised for fresh, high-quality ingredients and a daily-changing menu based on local catches. Diners frequently highlight the whole fish and Carabineros shrimp as exceptional, with some calling it a top culinary destination in Lanzarote. Service is generally professional and friendly, though some guests found the ordering process confusing or noted inconsistent meal pacing. The atmosphere is pleasant and well-regarded. However, value is a significant point of contention; negative reviews often cite small portions relative to cost, describing the experience as expensive and disproportionate. Rare but serious complaints include hygiene issues and overly pretentious service. This restaurant suits travelers seeking premium seafood who prioritize quality over affordability.
Recommended for diners prioritizing ingredient quality and experience over budget constraints.
€€Regional Cuisine
The perfect opportunity to discover a modern version of typical Canary Islands cuisine! Located in the new La Marina district, this restaurant boasts a glass-fronted façade, a simple, contemporary-style dining room, plus a terrace with views of the boats moored in the marina. In the completely open-view kitchen, the focus is on island cuisine which has been brought bang up to date. The à la carte, which showcases native Canary Island products, is complemented by a tasting menu.
€€€Traditional Cuisine
This unique restaurant with an open-view kitchen and numerous designer details is run by a friendly couple. Chef Nicolás Machín, who is known to everyone as Colacho, creates an up-to-date take on traditional cooking that is always built around ingredients from the island (the restaurant also has its own vegetable garden) and is showcased on a single tasting menu. Dishes that you’ll find on the menu that we particularly enjoyed for their flavour included the loin of cherne fish with vegetable pisto and creamy potatoes with thyme.

Located in Playa Blanca, La Cocina de Colacho is renowned for its traditional cuisine and family-run atmosphere. Most reviews highlight excellent food quality, attentive service, and a warm ambiance, with specific praise for the chef's accommodation of allergies. However, some negative feedback points out that the static menu leads to repetitive flavors, while others criticize rushed pacing and chaotic service. Despite a high 4.8/5 rating, a minority of diners found the experience lacking in originality and questioned the value.
Ideal for travelers seeking a warm, family-style atmosphere and traditional cuisine, though those expecting menu variety should manage their expectations.
