Getting there & around

From the airport

Florianópolis is served by Hercílio Luz International Airport (FLN), about 14-15 km south of Centro. There is no train or metro. For Centro, take urban bus 431 TICEN/Aeroporto to the central bus terminal; allow roughly 35-55 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis and app rides are the simplest first-arrival option, usually about 20-35 minutes to Centro, longer to northern beaches such as Jurerê, Canasvieiras or Ingleses.
