Choose Crans for a vibrant atmosphere with modern amenities and shopping, or Montana for a quieter, more traditional alpine village feel. The two centers are well-connected by cable cars and local buses, making it easy to access hotels in either district while enjoying the best of both worlds.
Access is primarily via Zurich or Geneva airports, followed by train connections to Sion or Sion, then bus or taxi transfers to the resort. Due to the mountainous terrain, roads can be winding; allow extra time for transfers and consider booking private shuttles in advance for convenience.
Winter (December to April) is peak season for skiing with excellent snow conditions. Summer (June to September) offers mild weather ideal for high-altitude hiking and sightseeing. The resort is accessible year-round, but hotels fill quickly during peak seasons, so early booking is recommended.
