Ao Luek is primarily an administrative district with limited accommodation options. It is recommended to base yourself in Krabi Town or Phi Phi Islands for better hotel facilities and dining, then visit Ao Luek for day trips to enjoy its natural scenery.
There is no direct airport access. Travelers must first arrive at Krabi International Airport and then take land transport to the Ao Luek area. Local transportation relies on taxis or chartered vehicles, with longer travel times requiring advance planning.
The dry season, from November to April, is the ideal time to visit Ao Luek. The weather is sunny and seas are calm, making it perfect for outdoor activities and beach walks.
