Where to Base
The main settlement at the northeastern tip is ideal for those wanting to walk to the harbor, Venetian castle, and shopping streets. For a quieter seaside experience, consider the resort area of St. George in the southwest, which offers a more secluded atmosphere away from the central hub.
Getting Around
There is no airport on Antiparos. Visitors must first reach Paros and then take a short local ferry ride to Antiparos harbor. Getting around the small island is best done on foot or via local transport between settlements like Soros, Kampos, and the main town, catering to slow-paced travelers.
Best Season
Summer is the peak season, offering pleasant weather, blooming gardens, and vibrant activity, though it attracts more tourists. This is the best time for beach activities and experiencing the island's lively atmosphere. Off-season visits offer solitude, but some services may be limited compared to the summer months.
