Where to Base
Given its small size and population of around 1,200, Andalo has limited accommodation options. Travelers should book well in advance. Staying near the center of the Paganella Plateau is recommended for easy access to local amenities, dining, and the start of hiking or skiing trails.
Getting Around
Andalo does not have an airport. The nearest major transport hubs are in Trento or Verona. Upon arrival, visitors typically rent a car or use local bus services. The town itself is compact and walkable, but a vehicle is essential for exploring the wider Paganella plateau and surrounding valleys.
Best Season
Andalo is a year-round destination. Winter attracts skiers to the Paganella slopes, while summer offers excellent conditions for hiking and mountain biking. The mild alpine climate makes it suitable for outdoor enthusiasts regardless of the season.
