Lisbon Portela Airport LISLPPT

Lisbon Portela / Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS) is Portugal’s main capital airport and the home hub of TAP Air Portugal and TAP Express, with TAP in Star Alliance. For frequent flyers it works as both a European short-haul airport and a long-haul bridge between Europe, Brazil, wider South America, North America and Africa, alongside domestic and island routes. The airport is close to central Lisbon, which makes quick city access realistic, but operationally it can feel tight: Terminal 2 is a separate low-cost departure facility, all meaningful connection planning should allow for security/passport checks, and the airport itself warns of longer waits for some non-Schengen departures.
