Ministro Pistarini International Airport EZESAEZ
Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE), usually called Ezeiza, is Buenos Aires’ main long-haul international gateway and the key international hub for Aerolíneas Argentinas, a SkyTeam member. It is not the city’s most convenient airport for domestic flying: many Argentina domestic and short regional services still use the closer Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP), so double-check airport codes when connecting. EZE’s 2023 departures terminal made the airport easier to read: most departures use the new central departures building, while the older Terminal A functions mainly for international arrivals and Terminal C for domestic arrivals. For the city, the most practical frequent-flyer choice is a booked transfer, official taxi/remis or ride-hail via the Riccheri/25 de Mayo motorway; allow about 40–70 minutes to central Buenos Aires, longer in peak traffic. There is no true airside transit hotel, so tight international-to-domestic plans and airport changes to AEP need generous buffers.
