SWISS (LX) is Switzerland’s national airline, with its network built around Zurich and Geneva and service to more than 110 destinations worldwide. It is part of the Lufthansa Group, a Star Alliance member, and uses Miles & More as its frequent-flyer and awards programme. For travelers, SWISS is best understood as a full-service network carrier rather than a low-cost airline: it publishes multiple cabin products, operates short-, medium- and long-haul aircraft, participates in Star Alliance and codeshare partnerships, and also has the Swiss WorldCargo airfreight division.
