China → Papua New Guinea
Individual tourism can use the online Tourist - Own Itinerary visa, normally single entry for 60 days from arrival. The Short-Term Multiple-Entry business visa is available online with 60 days per arrival; the Short-Term Single-Entry business eligible-passport list does not list ordinary Chinese passports.
Passport should be valid for at least 6 months from intended travel. Ordinary Chinese passports for individual travel are not on the official VOA list; ordinary Chinese passports on organized tours with a tour operator registered in PNG are VOA-eligible, but that is not the bare-passport rule. Submit the passport bio page, return/onward ticket and funds evidence if required; work is prohibited.

- Visa-free· apec_abtc · 60 days
Business travel only. Hold an APEC Business Travel Card pre-cleared for Papua New Guinea, with PNG shown on the card or virtual card, and use it with the corresponding passport. The United States and Canada are transitional members, so their ABTCs do not confer additional visa-free privileges.

Common questions
No sourced official rule changes the outcome to visa-free or VOA merely because the traveler holds a US visa. PNG's official VOA rule lists Chinese diplomatic/official/service/public passports and ordinary Chinese passports only when travelling in an organized tour with a PNG-registered operator; the official online visa materials do not list a US visa as a waiver for ordinary Chinese passports. Individual short tourist travel should use a PNG eVisa.
If the ABTC is pre-cleared for Papua New Guinea and shows PNG, it acts as the visa for business travel; it must be used with the corresponding passport.
Hong Kong SAR passports are listed for the 60-day Easy Visitor Permit online; under the sourced official materials, apply online for an eVisa before travel.
Mainland US passports are not VOA-eligible under PNG's official VOA page; that page states mainland United States of America is not eligible. US passports are listed for the 60-day Easy Visitor Permit online, so apply for an eVisa before travel.
