Common questions

Can a Chinese passport holder with a valid US visa visit Liechtenstein visa-free?

No. China is listed in the EU Schengen visa-required list, and Liechtenstein is in the Schengen area. The EU visa-exempt list and stated exceptions do not make a US visa a Schengen visa waiver for Chinese passport holders, so a Schengen visa is still required.

Can a Chinese passport holder with a valid Schengen visa visit Liechtenstein?

Yes, provided the visa is valid, has sufficient entries and duration, and is not territorially limited in a way that excludes Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein is in the Schengen area, and Schengen visa holders can enter the Schengen area.

Do UK passport holders need a visa for short tourist/business visits to Liechtenstein?

Generally no. The United Kingdom is listed in the Schengen visa-exempt list for short stays of up to 90 days in any 180-day period.

Is a Taiwan passport visa-free for Liechtenstein with no extra documents?

Eligible Taiwan passports are visa-free: the EU Schengen visa-exempt list includes Taiwan, with a footnote limiting the exemption to passports that include an identity card number. The stay limit is 90 days in any 180-day period.
