- Named after the historic Sperlingens Backe neighbourhood in which it's located, this upscale US-style steakhouse boasts a seductive cocktail bar, an open kitchen with a wood-fired grill, and a panelled dining room set with red leather banquettes and armchairs. Starters include the usual suspects – oysters, caviar and lobster salad – but also the likes of grilled leek with buffalo mozzarella and Amalfi lemon. Then follows steak, chicken, halibut on the bone and even king oyster mushrooms, all cooked over flickering flames. The wine list is impressive, and prices cater for most budgets.
