- Shiraz is housed in Wuppertal's oldest inn, on the grounds of Gut Einern. Charming historical details such as walls made of clay, straw and wooden beams, showcased behind glass, and the heritage-protected bar have been successfully integrated into this elegant and upscale little restaurant. In the kitchen, chef Reyad Danah thoughtfully marries classic European cuisine with the Middle Eastern flavours of his native Syria, giving dishes like sole with tomato beurre blanc, spinach, couscous and tarragon or banana with vanilla, date and whey a unique signature.
