- Description
- Here, the culinary experience is considerably enhanced by the setting in a beautiful farmhouse teeming with history. This stone building, whose origins date back to the end of the 17C, was the summer residence of the writer Caterina Albert y Paradís, who was much better known by the pseudonym of Víctor Català. In its dining rooms, all with high ceilings and rustic in feel yet with a few modern touches, enjoy Mediterranean cuisine with a French influence (note the traditional and delicious French rum baba on the dessert menu) which is always well presented and inspired by locally sourced ingred

- Review summary
- Mas Concas, a converted farmhouse in Viladamat, offers a peaceful and beautifully decorated rural atmosphere. Reviews frequently praise the high-quality food, professional service, and good value, noting that menus often feature novelties and include basic drinks. However, recent feedback highlights inconsistencies: slow service with long waits for drinks and courses, reduced portion sizes, and ordinary flavors that fall short of past standards. While the chef is attentive and the setting charming, issues with efficiency and culinary stability have disappointed some returning guests. Reservations are essential due to popularity.
- Best for
- Suitable for diners seeking a quiet rural setting and refined Mediterranean cuisine, though patience for potential service delays is advised.
