Review summary
Katz's Deli is a historic New York landmark with an average rating of 3.6/5. Reviewers frequently praise the massive portions and rich flavor of its signature pastrami sandwiches, considering them a must-try classic. However, negative feedback highlights a chaotic atmosphere with long waits and disorganized service flow. Some critics describe the food as overly fatty, resembling canned meat, and note poor value for money. While the historic ambiance attracts many, the noise level and slow pacing may deter those seeking efficiency or a quiet dining experience.
Best for
Suitable for visitors seeking a historic New York experience and iconic large sandwiches, but be prepared for crowds and noise.
