Description
A contemporary trattoria where you can enjoy some of the region’s delicious specialities, all of which are faithfully reproduced with maybe just a hint of modern flavour – this is one of the most interesting restaurants in central Parma! We particularly enjoyed the bomba di riso (stuffed rice pie) with pigeon ragù, as well as the fresh pastas and the roast meat stuffed with roast potatoes.

Review summary
Brisla Trattoria, located in central Parma, specializes in Emilian regional cuisine. Food quality is generally praised for its authentic flavors, particularly wild game dishes like rabbit and quail, and handmade pastas such as truffle leek tortelli. Ingredients are noted for their freshness. However, some reviewers criticize portion sizes as being too small and report occasional execution errors in specific dishes. Service is described as professional and knowledgeable, though pacing can be slow, leading to delays between courses. The atmosphere is cozy but compact, with marble tables lacking tablecloths that some find slightly cold, and kitchen odors are occasionally noticeable. While the culinary tradition is sincere, guests should expect modest portions and variable service speed.
Best for
Suitable for diners seeking traditional Emilian flavors who accept small portions and a compact setting.
