- Chef Anthony Schauer, who trained in top houses in northern Alsace, and his wife, cheerfully welcome you to their tasteful, contemporary restaurant, which provides the perfect foil to fresh, gutsy, seasonal fare with a bistronomic slant, such as seared seabream, white asparagus, kaesknepfle and a foamy hollandaise sauce, or a piece of French beef, veg, piping-hot crunchy fries and a béarnaise sauce. The weekday menu is excellent value for money. What’s not to like?
