Review summary
Located near the Spanish Steps, Alici offers Campanian-inspired contemporary dining. Food quality receives mixed reviews; while some praise the fresh pastries, coffee, and homemade pasta like Carbonara, others report unpleasant oil flavors and overcooked vegetables. Service is largely defined by the owner, Vito, who is frequently described as charming and helpful, though isolated incidents of rude treatment and language barriers exist. The atmosphere is clean and suitable for quick bites. Value perception varies significantly, with some finding it economical and others considering it overpriced. It is a locally-run establishment where the personal touch of the owner plays a central role in the overall experience.
