Chef Romain Masset proposes high-precision cuisine that shines a spotlight on Corsica, while also embracing flashes of creativity and the occasional obligatory foray into mushrooms, which he has revered since his years with Jacques and Régis Marcon. His set menus, with their enticing titles, take diners on a veritable tasting tour of olive oil, langoustines, shellfish, red mullet and suckling lamb – all carefully selected ingredients, prepared with finesse and intelligence. As for the setting, it is idyllic, with an unforgettable view of the Gulf of Valinco and Propriano from the terrace.

The restaurant of the Don Cesar Hotel is certainly not lacking in charm with its luxurious, refined interior and large bay windows giving onto the terrace. The meticulously prepared and flavoursome food lies at the crossroads of French and Italian cuisine, and gives seafood pride of place, but also serves a wide range of dishes based on pasta made on site!

Welcome to "bygone days" (tempi fà), in this grocer's-cum-bistro run by a passionate man who selects the island's finest ingredients! You enter via the shop, reminiscent of an actual village market (cold cuts, cheeses, myrtle liqueur etc). You'll enjoy tucking into the tender, flavoursome Abbatucci veal chop with a jus flavoured with herbs from the maquis... and a fine wine from the island!

Chez Parenti has been around since 1935, its kitchens successively manned by generation after generation of the same family! Those who love seafood are in for a treat – lobster and langoustines sold by weight, fish caught in the bay – but, to cater to all palates, there is also a small selection of Corsican meats, as well as an array of wonderful local cheeses. The cooking is technically on point and the dishes are nicely put together. Enjoy your meal in the comfort of the large shaded terrace that faces the Gulf of Valinco and the boats at anchor.

This enchanting little restaurant boasts an amazing terrace that unfolds along the quayside of the port. Chef Thomas Duval works with the catch supplied by his fisherman brother, which he brilliantly combines with other ingredients to create dishes throbbing with contrasting flavours. Examples include crunchy wild prawns, panko breadcrumbs, fregola of veggies, herbs, sweet-sour sauce or low-temperature fillet of umbrine in a lemony sauce of capers and parsley with courgette fritters. On the Benedettu peninsula, tucked away in the vegetation by the beach, this contemporary haven is the younger sibling of Casadelmar – its "casual" beachfront version. Everything happens on the terrace looking out to the Gulf of Porto Vecchio from beneath driftwood pergolas that blend into the landscape.
