At the very heart of the Chichen Itza archaeological park and boasting a separate entrance to the Mayan temple available only to its guests, this splendid compound is a prime accommodation choice for a truly unforgettable visit to Mexico. Hidden amidst an extensive lush garden, the main building is constructed in the style of times gone by and houses the lobby and reception area richly decorated with antiques, ceramics and potted plants. Built in the traditional Mayan style, the bungalows are constructed from wood, stone and marble from the local area and are topped with palm leaves. But their traditional exterior contains all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay – from air-conditioning, to minibars and satellite TV.
