The López sisters, with Irene in the kitchen and Eva in charge of front of house and wine, surprised us in this centrally located aristocratic property, the former family rooms of which been transformed into comfortable, classic-style dining rooms. A pleasantly surprising option in this small town and featuring two distinct ambiences: the popular original bar serving the daily menu and decorated with bulls’ heads, and the meticulously arranged contemporary dining room for the à la carte and tasting menus. The pair of chefs at the helm, Cundi and Tomás, propose a revised Murcian cuisine, with many dishes in tapa or snack format (we especially liked their crispy black cod ‘Roca’), and a section dedicated to Japanese cuisine that constantly plays with fusion.
