Built in the style of the East India Company, the peaceful hotel building is part of a former family residence from those by-gone days. The hotel retains the original and authentic atmosphere combined with a warm hospitality. The reception area with its rattan and wooden furniture sets the elegant tone. On offer are a total of 139 rooms spread over buildings of one or three storeys, kept in the Creole style. The hotel's restaurant Le Chaubriand offers a view over the bay of Fort-de-France and serves an excellent international cuisine. A more relaxed, Creole dining experience is to be had in the La Sirène restaurant near the beach. The Coco Bar is located on the seaside and offers snacks. The Le Gommier bar offers wheelchair access.
