Pousada de Armenteira, located in the Concello of Meis (Pontevedra), is an icon of contemporary Galician architecture. It is a cutting-edge building in the heart of the rural area of Salnés county, with top-notch facilities and services: 25 totally new luxury rooms, 1 suite, outdoor pool, garden and peaceful surroundings right next to the Monastery of Armenteira. The pousada (a Galician inn) blends in seamlessly with the surrounding landscape thanks to the staggered design of the complex of buildings. Guests enter on the top floor, through a cloister reminiscent of the neighbouring monastery. All of the rooms in the pousada have a small terrace, wood flooring, stylish furniture and are fully adapted for people with reduced mobility.
