The Gloucester Room is at ground level, accessed via our guest entrance from Gloucester Street for coming and going as you please. This room features a comfortable king-size double bed, sofa seating for two, wide screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and free WiFi internet access. The bedroom and private bathroom are both generous in size, including a bath and separate shower with a large pressurized rain head. This room is accessed from Gloucester Street and has a courtyard view. Please note, it does not come with access to the garden, but please check out our alternative ‘Garden Room’ if this is something you would like.

The Garden Room is at ground level with independent access from our driveway. This light, spacious room features a king-size bed, en-suite with walk in shower, sofa seating for two, wide screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and free WiFi internet access. There is an outside seating area on the patio next to your room for use during warmer periods, which is exclusive to our Garden Room guests. Unfortunately the log-burner in the room is currently unavailable for guest use due to insurance reasons - the room is otherwise fully central heated.

Something of a hidden gem, this inviting brasserie-style restaurant is situated within a Palladian country house hotel, itself secreted down the narrow lane of an attractive Cotswolds town. Chef Jamie McCallum is quietly putting all his experience to use here on straightforward yet refined dishes where each plate is pleasingly uncluttered. A superb beef Wellington shows the kitchen at its best, accompanied by a pot of deep, rich and glossy Madeira reduction. When execution is skilled and ingredients are strong, there’s little need for anything else.
