Sen Omakase
Japanese · ★ Michelin
€€€€
If you enjoy Japanese cuisine, this is one of those places that is a must given its focus on presentation and the innovative touch that they add to its dishes (over 35 different courses). Chef Steven Wu, who trained in restaurants in both Tokyo and Kyoto, offers guests his surprise Omakase menu which is the only option here. His Kaiseki-style cooking places full emphasis on the seasonality of ingredients and a respect for tradition, replicating the five types of time-honoured preparation and cooking methods to ensure the perfect harmony between visual and tasting sensations. 99 sushi bar
Japanese
€€€
This modern Japanese restaurant is located in a pleasant setting that is perfect to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It is particularly noteworthy for its bar, where the sushi chef prepares dishes in front of guests, and the cascade of water forming a backdrop behind him. The cuisine does not follow the doctrines of Japanese cuisine to the letter, instead creating popular dishes in different ways that will find favour with everyone. Make sure you try the tiger prawn tempura!

El Barril de La Moraleja
Seafood
€€€
A successful restaurant with a long-standing tradition located at the entrance to the exclusive La Moraleja residential development, where you’ll find a contemporary maritime-inspired interior and a verdant terrace that is highly recommended when the weather allows. The à la carte here specialises in fish and seafood (note the enticing display cabinet featuring large, line-caught fish, many of which are big enough for two). This is complemented by a choice of cold cuts, tartares, fried and rice dishes, as delicious dishes, red meats such as suckling lamb.

La Sartén
Fusion · Bib
€€
A unique, surprising and somewhat eclectic restaurant which, despite its young age, clearly demonstrates the chef’s passion for cooking. In the kitchen, chef Elena García conjures up a contemporary, fusion-inspired à la carte that introduces cooking from different parts of the world to the palate, from the recipes of Latin America to the sublime tastes of Spanish cuisine and the intense flavours of Asia. Media-raciones, plates for sharing and highly interesting dishes that don’t feature on the menu are also available. One dish that we enjoyed in particular was the mussels with a green curry sa

Having worked in various prestigious restaurants such as Nacho Manzano’s legendary Casa Marcial, chefs Carlos Griffo and Miguel Ángel García do their utmost to combine the skills they have learnt to create “comida de casa” – traditional home cooking based around seasonal ingredients, albeit in an updated format, but one that still respects their full flavours. The interior, which is now more elegant and features an open kitchen, provides the backdrop for an à la carte (including dishes such as hake tortilla with pil-pil and chilli peppers, shoulder of rabbit escabeche, rice with pigeon, etc) a

La Terraza de Alba
Traditional Cuisine
€€
This restaurant, which has undergone a major evolution and whose owner (Óscar Fernández) is always on hand to oversee everything, favours the flavours of traditional cuisine with a modern twist. The menu, which offers half portions for many dishes, has a special section for rice dishes (minimum 2 people) and another very tempting section dedicated to bluefin tuna. Standout dishes? There are two that are prepared right before your eyes: the salt-crusted beef tenderloin with fine herbs and, among the desserts, the almond mortar, cream cheese and passion fruit ice cream. They have a adjoining mul
