Quinta da Veiga
Quinta da Veiga is located on the Douro River's right bank near the Ferrão train station, nestled between Régua and Pinhão. Characterized by schist slopes with excellent sun exposure at an altitude of 170m-220m, this area, known as Veiga do Donelo, was once comprised of smallholdings dating back to the 16th century. Today, it forms a single property: Quinta da Veiga, a winery producing Port and Douro wines. Situated within the Douro World Heritage area, this 50-hectare estate has been converted into a charming manor house offering Turismo de Habitação (country tourism). The main house features seven comfortable and stylish double rooms. The restoration of this elegant farmhouse carefully preserved the original architecture and materials, maintaining its traditional character.
