THE LIBERTY is Bremerhaven's unique themed hotel and is a centre of attraction in the lakeside city with its modern elegance. The fact that our hotel was built where it is now is no coincidence. THE LIBERTY is located exactly on the historic spot where, between 1830 and 1974, around 7 million people sought their fortune in emigration. From the quay at the 'New Harbour' they left their homeland behind and, full of hope for freedom and a better life, set off by ship for the United States.
