This unique hotel is located in the centre of Biarritz, 200 metres from the beach and the casino. It is also close to Les Halles with its numerous restaurants and bar tapas. This extraordinary residence is a rare place that has managed to keep its past character intact. The 19th century house was the residence of Dr. Adema, Mayor of Biarritz, and is also where Napoleon III used to receive treatment during his many visits to the Basque coast. The accommodations are stylishly furnished and luxuriously decorated. They are all equipped with modern amenities, which include air conditioning, Internet access and a flat screen television with 40 channels.

The name is a tribute to the founder of this modest eatery, which opened in the late 1940s. It has since morphed into a pleasant contemporary bistro under the impetus of an enthusiastic young couple who are no strangers to the business.
