The Boutique & Design Hotel at Volkshaus Basel was designed by the renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron and reflects the individuality and needs of its guests in the heart of Basel’s most vibrant neighbourhood. Architectural generosity and a careful approach to the historic building fabric define the layouts of the 45 rooms and suites, combining thoughtful luxury with understated simplicity to create a hotel experience that is unique in Switzerland. Our connecting rooms, the three spacious Junior Suites and the one-of-a-kind Terrace Suite with its private rooftop terrace offer plenty of space for stays with the whole family and for longer visits.
