For wine lovers the Barossa Valley needs no introduction as Australia's best-known wine region and the most visited tourist attraction in South Australia. Located just outside of Tanunda, Discovery Parks – Barossa Valley is a top destination. After a visit to the vines, open a bottle of the regions finest to overlook the park. The kids will be happy with the water park, one of the largest in the network with 3 slides, a gigantic tipping bucket and multiple splash zones. If they can tear themselves away from the water park there is also a resort pool and bouncy pillow. You can even hire a pedal kart to burn off some energy racing around the park. The luxury safari tents are set amongst the native gum trees with views over the vineyards. There is also exclusive access to a swimming pool and hot tub. Crack out the marshmallows to toast over the firepit and count the stars in the sky.
