Built around a historic and charming country house, the Copthorne Hotel Effingham Gatwick is a 4 star hotel set amidst a picturesque parkland estate that dates back to 1841. It's distinct character sets it apart from many of the local hotels, yet we are a very convenient 10-min drive away from Gatwick International Airport. Very close to The Hawth Theatre, The Bluebell Railway, The British Wildlife Centre and local hiking trails, we are also within easy reach of the South Coast, meaning there is plenty to do and see during your stay with us. Enjoy a round of foot golf, floodlit tennis courts, and a well-equipped gym too - a perfect balance of activities and relaxation. Those staying before setting off to the airport or in transit will have a perfect base to refresh, rest and prepare - making their trip even more relaxing and convenient.
