This modern inn is located in the centre of Shipston-on-Stour, only a 20-minute drive from Stratford-upon-Avon, 10 minutes from The Brailes Golf Club and 100 meters from The Stour Gallery. In the immediate vicinity, guests will find local bus stops that will allow them to explore the area. The hotel has a restaurant serving a creative menu with seasonal British produce, during the winter the fireplace is always roaring and guests can enjoy the delicious homemade cakes with a hot cup of coffee. There's no shortage of history at The Royal Oak; it's reputedly one of the oldest pubs in the country and Oliver Cromwell is said to have stayed here in 1642.
