In the heart of Plasencia, Extremadura, Spain, stands the 16th-century Renaissance palace that now houses the exquisite Hotel Palacio Carvajal Girón. Painstakingly restored over two years, its dressed facade is complemented by a grand entryway, ample coffered salons, and staircases. Guest rooms, divided into three levels, are warm and bright, tastefully combining the building's traditional style with modern design elements. At the heart of this marvelous building, a monumental patio preserves its original design, featuring pilasters, a balustrade, upper galleries, a staircase, and two wells with original curbstones and forged ironwork. The hotel also offers exquisite service, a fine restaurant, and a delightful small pool located in the old wine cellar.
