Sit back in the delightful wood-panelled interior as the cordial front-of-house team brings out really good Baden cuisine, which can also be enjoyed on the terrace in summer. The menu includes dishes such as pikeperch-salmon dumplings, and stuffed guinea fowl breast with a chive cream sauce to whet your appetite. After almost 30 years in Mallorca, Czech-born Martin Sklenar and his wife Lucie swapped the Balearic island for the vineyards of Oberkirch. In their restaurant, they propose an interesting blend of regional (Baden), Mallorcan and Bohemian-inspired cuisine. This is served in a cosy interior with a slightly rustic feel, or out on the wonderful terrace known as the Weinberggarten. There is also a vegetarian/vegan set menu.
