Occupying an old stone house in the heart of the countryside and equipped with its own greenhouse-vegetable garden, Landua is run with great enthusiasm by a young couple. In the beautiful dining room, which has been converted from what was once the stable, you will be offered a unique surprise menu with simple yet well-balanced and elegant dishes. Once in a while you come across a truly pleasant surprise in a rural setting run by chefs who have returned to their roots with the sole aim of showcasing what they have learnt elsewhere. This is definitely the case with couple Fernando and Eva, two cooks (although she is also in charge of the dining room service) who have restored her grandmother’s house and created their own vegetable garden (which also includes a greenhouse). Their contemporary cuisine has plenty of personality and is centred around a single seasonal vegetarian menu. We loved the roasted aubergines with miso!
