Wyndham
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is a global hotel franchising group whose business traces back to Hospitality Franchise Systems, incorporated in 1990 to acquire the Howard Johnson brand and U.S. Ramada franchise rights. It became an independent public company in May 2018 after its spin-off from Wyndham Worldwide, now Travel + Leisure Co. As of December 31, 2025, Wyndham reported 25 brands, 8,389 affiliated hotels and about 868,900 rooms in approximately 100 countries. Its portfolio spans economy, midscale, upscale, luxury and extended-stay segments, though the company describes itself as a global leader in economy, midscale and upper-midscale chain scales. The group runs Wyndham Rewards, a points-based loyalty program covering participating properties across its brand portfolio.
